The first-ever Westside Fine Art Fair was held in the Tioga Town Center the first weekend of March by the Gainesville Fine Arts Association.

“We were very pleased with the turnout,” says Roz Miller, who handled publicity for the organization. “It’s wonderful how people in this comunity support the arts. There are so many great artists here, too.”

The event drew approximately 50 artists, whose works were judged. The art ranged in terms of media, including paintings, photography, sculptures, jewelry and even hand-blown glass.
