The Florida Goal-Liners, an all-women group of Florida Gators supporters, recently hosted its 20th annual Fashion Show at the Best Western Gateway Grand.

The event featured a number of club members and University of Florida coaches’ wives and children, including Gators head coach Urban Meyer’s wife Shelley and son Nate, modeling mostly-orange-and-blue fashions.

The Florida Goal-Liners was started in 1979 by Ward Pell and Monica Kirkpatrick to raise money for the University’s football program. Today, the Goal-Liners raise money for all of the athletic programs and host a dessert party for all UF athletes.

“We’re like the athletes’ Moms-away-from-home,” says club president Kathy Murphey.
