Active Chiropractic Health Center, operated by Anthony Howe, D.C., recently added licensed massage therapist Hope Arrington (MA#51193), who will provide both medical and therapeutic massage.

According to Howe, massage can provide his patients with benefits, such as improved circulation, a decrease in muscle spasms and metabolites, lower blood pressure, stress reduction and relaxation. He says patients who have spinal joint problems or soft tissue problems can benefit.

Arrington, who worked for the state attorney’s office of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement prior to earning her massage license, says she had always wanted to learn massage. “It’s a natural practice for me,” she says.

Arrington says she also offers Hope Scents aroma therapy to her clients.

One of her specialty therapies is “Aqua-Chi Detox.” She says through this special foot spa treatment, she can help release toxins from the body that have been built up through the years.

She also offers deep tissue, relaxation and hot stone massage.
